Health Care Office Managers/Administrators are people who plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the delivery of health care. A specialist may be in charge of specific clinical departments or services while generalists manage an entire facility or system. Specific skills needed include management ability, financial analysis, supervisory skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $62,170 - $104,120
Salary Notes: Earnings of medical and health services managers are high but long hours of work are common. The median salary is $80,240; compensation is typically related to experience, education and scope of responsibility.
